Alan Dickson's legal experience spans almost four decades and has been concentrated in matters involving counseling clients on U.S. Government and state and local government contracting and subcontracting procedures and legal issues, and in administrative and judicial litigation of disputes concerning the formation, award and performance of public contracts and complex private sector contracts. His clients come from many industries including defense and aerospace, construction, advisory/analysis/assistance, R&D, heavy equipment manufacturing, health care, engineering and environmental remediation among many others.
Mr. Dickson's experience includes matters involving prime and subcontractor relationships, security clearances, cost disputes, criminal investigations, terminations, debarment, voluntary disclosures, defective pricing, procurement aspects of corporate mergers, qui tam and whistleblower litigation, teaming agreements and joint ventures, federal grants, small business issues, claims and bid protests, conflicts of interest, and protection of proprietary technology.
Mr. Dickson began his legal career as an Air Force officer in the Air Force Judge Advocate General's Corps, serving over six years on active duty and another eighteen in reserve service, most of which duty involved military contract law. He holds the rank of Colonel (Retired).
