Cynthia G. Burnside concentrates her practice in the areas of Commercial Litigation, Employment Litigation and Appellate representation. She has extensive experience litigating complex commercial cases involving a variety of substantive legal areas including, but not limited to, business divorce, consumer disputes, real estate, breach of contract, restrictive covenants, intellectual property, trade secrets, securities fraud, breach of fiduciary duty and RICO. She also has experience litigating and counseling clients on employment matters involving claims arising under Titles II and VII, Sections 1981, 1983, 1985 and 1986, Fair Labor Standards Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Equal Pay Act and Family Medical Leave Act. She has represented clients on appeal in both commercial and employment matters before the United States Courts of Appeal for the Sixth, Ninth, Tenth and Eleventh Circuits, as well as before the Appellate courts of the states of Georgia and Alabama.
