Christopher W. Angius is the leader of Holland & Knight's Litigation Practice in Portland. He practices in the general litigation area, with a specific emphasis on representing corporate clients in product liability, business and environmental matters. He regularly defends national and international product manufacturers in litigation throughout the United States and Canada. Mr. Angius’s practice includes defending product manufacturers against individual and class action claims for personal injuries and property damage, federal and state environmental claims, dealer termination claims, and a wide variety of business disputes. He has successfully represented corporate clients as lead counsel in jury and non-jury trials, arbitrations and administrative proceedings. Mr. Angius served as national trial counsel to a computer hardware manufacturer, successfully defending the company against repetitive stress injury claims. He currently serves as regional litigation counsel to several national and international consumer product manufacturers. His environmental litigation experience includes defending corporate clients in CERCLA cost recovery actions, and serving as national litigation counsel to an EPA response action contractor. His business litigation experience includes the hostile takeover of a publicly-traded company, and the successful defense of lender liability and shareholder derivative claims.
