Matters representative of Mr. Burke's practice include representation of: regulated public utilities in merger and acquisition transactions; a multinational industrial corporation in connection with its numerous leveraged acquisitions and subsequent reorganizations and dispositions; an Internet messaging company in its third round of private investment, its IPO and its acquisition of all of the stock of a competing company in a public stock for stock transaction; a multinational industrial company in connection with its acquisition of a publicly traded industrial service company by means of an equity tender offer and related debt tender offers; a publicly traded Fortune 50 pharmaceutical company with respect to dispositions of certain of its pharmaceutical businesses and manufacturing facilities; and a Forbes International 100 pharmaceutical company with respect to its disposition of a manufacturing facility.
