Florence A. Wood is a member of Holland & Knight's Tax Credit Transactions Practice. Ms. Wood practices in the area of affordable housing transactions, acting as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel and borrower’s counsel in transactions involving FHA insurance programs, Section 8 and Section 236 housing subsidy programs, IRP decoupling transactions, HOPE VI and public housing capital grant secured financings, low income housing tax credits, letters of credit and Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and GNMA credit enhancement programs for tax-exempt bonds. She has served as bond counsel to state and local housing agencies and as underwriter’s counsel in numerous public finance transactions. In addition, she has represented a variety of clients in transactions financing federal military housing privatization initiative projects involving private loans and Rule 144A offerings. Ms Wood's clients have included credit enhancers, underwriters, trustees, borrowers and state and municipal agencies involved in providing affordable housing.
