Howard Sokol practices in the Labor, Employment and Benefits Group of
the Litigation Section, representing management in labor and employment law
matters. Such representation is before both state and federal administrative
agencies and courts. His experience includes representing both national and
international employers in matters involving issues under the Occupational
Safety and Health Act, National Labor Relations Act, federal and state
employment discrimination laws, as well as in related workers' compensation and
unemployment insurance proceedings. He also advises and represents management
in matters involving defamation, restrictive covenants, preparation and review
of employment practice manuals and handbooks and executive agreements, wage and
hour and state and federal statutory and common law claims concerning all
aspects of labor and employment.
