Jonathan E. Furr
is a Senior Counsel in the Chicago office of Holland & Knight and practices in the areas of education, local government and land use, and state advocacy. In the education sector, Mr. Furr focuses on preventative law, helping both public and private sector clients structure programs and transactions that best serve their educational goals and also meet state and federal legal requirements. Mr. Furr is experienced in the representation of public bodies in multiple areas of legal services, including general corporate counseling, environmental matters, zoning, development, and contracts. Mr. Furr counsels private sector clients on zoning and land use matters (with an emphasis on green building and urban redevelopment), state agency approvals and advocacy, and other transactional issues.
