Jonathan O'Connell represents management clients with respect to labor and employment matters, including those involving claims of racial and sexual discrimination, wrongful discharge claims, federal and state wage and hour compliance, enforcement of non-competition, non-solicitation and confidentiality agreements, and collective bargaining agreements. Mr. O'Connell has conducted investigations and litigated cases involving a wide range of employment laws, including Title VII, the whistleblower provision of the False Claims Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act and the Fair Labor Standards Act. Based on this experience, Mr. O'Connell also counsels and defends management clients in connection with EEOC charges, alleged FLSA violations, and claims of wrongful discharge. Mr. O'Connell also has experience representing educational institutions, as well as representing entities that are subject to state Sunshine Laws.
