Joaquin J. Alemany practices in the areas of complex commercial and real estate litigation, white collar defense, bankruptcy and creditor's rights. Mr. Alemany is also a Florida licensed CPA. Prior to joining Holland & Knight LLP, Mr. Alemany worked as an accountant preparing financial statements and tax filings. While at the University of Miami School of Law, Mr. Alemany worked as a Summer Associate for the legal department of BellSouth Corporation in its corporate headquarters of Atlanta, Georgia, served as the Managing Editor to the University of Miami Inter-American Law Review, was a semifinalist in the 1L Moot Court Competition and received Honors for his performance in both the Litigation Skills and Alternative Dispute Resolution Programs.
