John R. Mussman practices in the area of banks and financial institutions and banking, corporate and consumer credit law. Mr. Mussman has drafted and negotiated purchases and sales of banks, bank affiliates and mortgage banks, and assisted banks and mortgage companies in establishing branches and representative offices. He has directed and managed litigation and regulatory projects for mortgage companies and credit card banks, and assisted in the development of electronic banking products as well as stored value cards, credit cards, residential mortgage and other financial products. He has advised domestic and foreign financial institutions on compliance with federal and state regulatory and licensing issues and drafted and negotiated credit card and merchant agreements for retailers, hotels and other clients.
