Jeffrey T. Placker is a member of the Intellectual Property Law Practice Group of the Litigation Section of Holland & Knight. Mr. Placker focuses his practice in the areas of patent prosecution and intellectual property licensing and litigation. He has worked on patent prosecution matters involving mechanical devices, medical devices (e.g., partial and total joint replacement technologies, implantable vascular access portals and heart valve prosthetics), polymers and polymer formulation, adhesives, microchip assembly and thermal management, material science, software, electronics and electromechanical devices, composite materials and manufacturing processes, and consumer devices. In addition to his prosecution experience, Mr. Placker also has been involved in the preparation of validity and infringement opinions.
