Karen D. Walker serves as Executive Partner of the Tallahassee office and, along with Former Governor Bob Martinez, leads the Florida Government Advocacy Practice. Ms. Walker's practice encompasses all aspects of Florida administrative law with a particular emphasis on Florida state and local procurement matters. Ms. Walker also regularly advises clients regarding Florida's ethics and elections laws and has experience representing clients in complex public utility regulatory matters.
Ms. Walker's state and local procurement experience includes representation of clients before almost every state agency and various local governments. Ms. Walker regularly assists clients in responding to solicitations in competitive procurements and also represents clients in bid protests, contract negotiations, and contract disputes. Ms. Walker is actively involved in the American Bar Association Section of Public Contract Law where she serves as a Chair of the IT Procurement Committee (State and Local) and as Florida State Chair.
