Leila Batties is a land use and zoning lawyer in Holland & Knight's Miami office. In this capacity, she works with local, county and state agencies, and appears before governmental boards in order to secure all types of development approvals for the county's most active residential developers and homebuilders. She also represents developers, builders and investors for commercial, industrial, and institutional uses, including several schools. Currently, she serves as a lead attorney for the development of a 100-acre industrial/office park in the City of Homestead, in south Miami-Dade County. While her practice focuses primarily on matters in Miami-Dade County, Ms. Batties also handles planned unit development applications for residential and mixed used projects for the firm's Washington D.C. office.
