Lindsay Dennis Swiger represents employers with respect to labor and employment matters, including discrimination claims in proceedings at the local, state and federal levels in addition to claims arising out of employment agreements and covenants not to compete, advice and counsel to human resource professionals about personnel issues, preparation of employment agreements and employee handbooks, union avoidance, unfair labor practice charges, arbitration and collective bargaining.
Ms. Swiger is often invited to provide her opinion on labor and employment matters. Most recently, she co-authored a Florida Chamber of Commerce human resources guide titled "Model Policies and Forms for Florida Employers" and authored a Jacksonville Business Journal article titled "Beware of Politics in the Workplace." Ms. Swiger also recently spoke at a Holland & Knight breakfast briefing on "Social Media: Legal Liabilities, Loopholes and Lessons Learned."
