Michele Mintz Brown is a member of the government contracts practice group. Her practice focuses on all aspects of federal government contracts law, including litigation, bid protests, claims, compliance, and contract administration issues. Ms. Brown has prosecuted and defended a large number of bid protests before the Government Accountability Office, the Federal Aviation Administration's Office of Dispute Resolution for Acquisition, and federal agencies. She routinely counsels large and small businesses on a wide variety of procurement and contract administration issues, claim avoidance, and claim preparation. She has defended terminations for default and litigated claims before the Boards of Contract Appeals and the United States Court of Federal Claims. Ms. Brown has litigated commercial disputes involving government prime contractors and subcontractors, including cases involving breach of contract and fraud. Ms. Brown also regularly counsels companies on compliance obligations relating to federal contracts.
