M. Kasim Reed is a Partner in the Litigation Section where he represents business clients in legal matters involving employment law compliance, diversity representation, crisis management, employment law audits and contract related disputes concerning restrictive covenants and non-compete agreements. Mr. Reed has advised major corporations in enhancing their corporate diversity performance and workforce profiles. In addition, Mr. Reed has developed a specialty in the entertainment law area, where he has substantial experience drafting and negotiating entertainment agreements on behalf of recording artists, recording executives, personal managers, songwriters, producers, production companies and recording companies. He also represents songwriters in publishing and joint venture arrangements with music publishing companies. In addition, Mr. Reed routinely assists clients with protecting and enforcing their copyrights, trademark, licensing, and merchandising opportunities, as well as organizing their businesses and exploiting their creative works.
