Paul J. Kiernan is a trial and appellate lawyer who focuses on commercial disputes, real estate, and local government law. He represents businesses, developers, institutions, lenders, builders, real estate trusts, hotels, landlords, and tenants on land use, zoning, condemnation, development, and property management disputes, and matters involving distressed real estate.
Mr. Kiernan serves as Executive Partner for Holland & Knight's Mid-Atlantic Region. Previously, he served as Practice Group Leader for the firm's Mid-Atlantic Litigation Group and on the Advisory Board for Holland & Knight's Women's Initiative. He is Co-Chair of the firm's Real Estate Litigation Team.
Mr. Kiernan also has substantial experience in general commercial litigation, commercial and international arbitration, and government contract litigation. He has handled complex contract and business litigation.
