Shelley G. Hurwitz is an associate in the Litigation Department of the Los Angeles office of Holland & Knight. Ms. Hurwitz has extensive experience defending product manufacturers against individual and class action claims for personal injuries and property damage. She has also represented defendants in defamation actions, both at the trial court level and at the appellate court level. Ms. Hurwitz has represented defendants in numerous toxic mold cases, as well as Unfair Business Practices claims. Ms. Hurwitz has been involved in a variety of business litigation, including securities broker/dealer disputes, disputes involving professional athletes, contract disputes, employment disputes, and landlord/tenant issues. She also has experience litigating land valuation issues in eminent domain proceedings, and litigating various tort claims, including nuisance, fraud and interference with business relations.
