Sidney G. Saltz has been involved, on behalf of foreign and domestic clients, in all types of commercial real estate transactions, including development, leasing, acquisition and sale, financing and 1031 exchanges. He has represented clients in industrial, office and retail deals, as well as in ground leases, hotel purchases and sales, movie theater leases, land purchases and sales, and the purchase and sale of large apartment complexes. He has created partnerships, limited liability companies and other joint ventures, and has dealt with construction contracts, on behalf of owners and contractors. Mr. Saltz handled all the legal work in connection with the land acquisition, construction, financing, leasing and disposition (by contribution to an UP-REIT) of a 1.2-million-square-foot office and retail complex in a Chicago suburb.
