Vincent J. Foley is a partner in the Holland & Knight LLP Maritime Practice Group. Mr. Foley practices primarily in the area of international complex litigations arising out of vessel casualties including collisions, groundings, explosions, fires and oil spills. Mr. Foley has participated in all aspects of oil spill claim litigation, oil pollution prevention seminars, formal response drills and oil spill response training. Mr. Foley has represented clients in multi-jurisdictional limitation of liability actions, and has advised clients on environmental policy and compliance issues, defense of civil claims and penalties, and in defense of criminal prosecutions for environmental crimes and oily water separator issues. He has extensive experience in all aspects of pre-trial discovery, depositions, and trials in federal courts, and commercial arbitrations.
