William S. Sessions joined Holland & Knight in 2000 and is a Partner engaged primarily in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) procedures. Judge Sessions was in private practice for several years prior to serving as Section Chief of the Government Operations Section of the Criminal Division of the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C.. and the United States Attorney for the Western District of Texas. Subsequently, he was appointed United States District Judge for the Western District of Texas and served as Chief Judge of that court. President Ronald Reagan appointed him Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
He has received many awards and honors from legal, civic and educational organizations and associations. Also, he is a member of numerous associations and organizations including those related to arbitration and mediation endeavors.
