Allan J. Landau is a member of the Private Wealth Services Section. Mr. Landau has spent most of his professional business life representing family-owned businesses in the areas of tax, estate, and financial planning for both the businesses and owners. He advises clients on a wide range of concerns faced by family-owned businesses, including issues relating to succession planning and financial structures.
While his vast experience encompasses family business law as well as general corporate law, Mr. Landau has focused his practice on representation and counseling of family-owned businesses and succession planning.
His clients include corporations and a wide range of individuals, including businessmen, investment bankers, and other professionals. He has counseled many companies from start-up or early stage development throughout growth into larger corporations, including assistance with numerous mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Landau has been a frequent lecturer and speaker at various professional and trade association programs, ranging from estate planning for the family-owned business to creating business plans to pass on family wealth. Mr. Landau has been quoted in numerous publications including Business Week, INC Magazine, and the Boston Business Journal.
