Anne-Mette E. Andersen practices in the areas of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, securities, asset-based finance and international business transactions. She has assisted foreign and U.S. corporations in several transactions involving mergers and acquisitions; stock and asset sales; public and private securities offerings; IPOs, including simultaneous offerings in multiple countries; distribution agreements and joint ventures in the United States.
Ms. Andersen also has substantial experience in the field of professional corporations and professional licensing for engineering and architecture businesses.
Ms. Andersen has significant career experience from private practice in Denmark, where she practiced for four and a half years with the law firm Reumert & Partners (now Kromann Reumert) primarily in the areas of general corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and insolvency law but also in commercial and torts litigation and arbitration. While practicing in Denmark, Ms. Andersen represented, among others, U.S., Canadian and Danish corporations in transactions involving mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions in Denmark.
Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Andersen was a civil servant at the Danish Ministry of Justice, where she made administrative decisions on Danish trust funds, the administration of funds belonging to minors and foreign adoptions.
