Ann Chiacchieri practices in the Syndication Practice Group at Holland & Knight. She has extensive experience in structuring transactions involving historic rehabilitation tax credits, state tax credits and new markets tax credits. Ms. Chiacchieri represents major institutional investors in office, hotel and residential projects that use a combination of various federal and state tax credits and other financing sources.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Chiacchieri was land use counsel and senior planner for the Boston Redevelopment Authority where she developed policies and implementation strategies for the City of Boston’s harbor plans and coordinated the city’s harbor planning initiatives with Massachusetts waterways regulations and policies.
Ms. Chiacchieri also has significant real estate transaction experience representing lenders, owners and developers in real estate sales and acquisitions, loans and loan workouts and commercial leasing transactions. Ms. Chiacchieri has other career experience in corporate transactions and business planning and has advised clients with respect to corporate structure, financing issues, employment matters and shareholder disputes, and handled stock and asset acquisitions, mergers and corporate restructurings.
