Beau A. Baker practices in the Litigation Section of the Jacksonville office of Holland & Knight focusing in complex commercial litigation in the areas of antitrust, appellate practice, breach of contract and torts, insurance coverage, intellectual property and maritime law.
While in law school Mr. Baker interned for the Honorable United States District Court Judge, Marcia Morales Howard. Mr. Baker also competed in multiple National Moot Court competitions, including the Tulane National Sports Law Competition (New Orleans, Louisiana, February, 2005) and the Thomas Tang Competition (Washington D.C., October, 2006.)
Prior to joining Holland & Knight Mr. Baker worked for a Jacksonville-based commercial litigation boutique where his most notable achievements included handling an appeal before the Florida Second District Court of Appeals representing, pro bono, an indigent client which resulted in the client's avoidance of an attorney's fee judgment of several hundred thousand dollars.
