Brett Alan Barfield practices in the area of complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on class action defense and construction litigation in the federal and state courts.
Mr. Barfield's class action experience includes defense of claims involving consumer trade practices, managed health care, state tax and maritime issues. His construction practice includes extensive design and construction defect litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Barfield served as a law clerk to The Honorable Edward B. Davis, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Before practicing law, Mr. Barfield spent several years in the retail management field as a territory supervisor with Express apparel division of the Limited, Inc.
