Bryan R. Phillips, R.A. is an attorney and licensed architect practicing in the Litigation Department, focusing his practice in the area of construction law.

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Phillips was a project architect at the international firms of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and Ellerbe Becket, Inc. His architectural practice has included work on a variety of building types, including Class A office buildings, embassies, and courthouses.

Mr. Phillips represents project owners, developers and general contractors in all phases of construction and on a wide variety of building types. With over twenty years of experience in the design and construction industry, Mr. Phillips provides a unique insight to his clients from contract negotiation to project close-out. The primary focus of his practice is negotiating and drafting construction agreements, professional design services agreements, design-build agreements and construction management agreements. Mr. Phillips has mediated, arbitrated and litigated all manner of construction disputes including building defects and delay claims.

In the community, Mr. Phillips has led Holland & Knight LLP's team for "Rebuilding Together – Christmas in April" renovating residential and institutional projects to help impoverished individuals and service organizations unable to help themselves. He is also an active participant and volunteer in his local civic association.
