Charles W. Abbott, a partner in the Orlando office, is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a circuit court mediator and is now devoting a major portion of his time to serving in that capacity.
Mr. Abbott formerly practiced in the areas of medical malpractice defense litigation, involving the defense of physicians who are uninsured, or insurance companies insuring physicians. A board-certified civil trial lawyer, Mr. Abbott has been very active throughout his career in bar associations and claims industry organizations, particularly in the area of medical malpractice defense and state legislation in that field.
