Christine A. Irwin practices in the firm's national Construction Industry Practice Group. She represents owners, contractors and suppliers in a variety of construction-related disputes and transactions.
Specifically, Ms. Irwin's experience includes representing owners and contractors in construction contract claims and disputes, including claims for delays, inefficiencies, accelerations, and defective work; representing contractors in bid protests against local governments; representing suppliers in collection actions and to enforce mechanic's liens; and drafting construction contract documents and related documents.
Within the firm, Ms. Irwin serves as co-chair of the firm's Women's Initiative in Orlando. The Holland & Knight Women's Initiative is a program designed to provide opportunities for leadership and development to women within the firm and to women business leaders in the community. Ms. Irwin also serves on the firm's pro bono committee.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Irwin worked for Delta Air Lines, where she was a human resources and operational manager of the flight attendant base in New York City. She also served as the executive director of a non-profit organization in Orange County, Florida where she oversaw the construction and opening of a community health center.
