David C. Wang is a partner in the firm’s Business section, and practices in the area of general corporate and securities law. He represents both public and private companies in a variety of business transactions and counsels clients engaged in public offerings, private placements and venture capital financings. He also advises public companies with respect to Securities Exchange Act compliance, corporate governance, reporting responsibilities, and assists clients in matters involving licensing and intellectual property. Mr. Wang also works closely with the firm's Global Hospitality and Resorts Team to advise clients on the impact of federal and state securities laws on condominium hotel projects, equity and non-equity destination clubs, Section 1031 tenant-in-common exchange programs and other projects.
Mr. Wang joined Holland & Knight from Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto, California, where his corporate practice focused on venture capital investments in emerging technology companies, and the representation of startup and growing businesses in technology segments including telecommunications, Internet services and semiconductors.
Mr. Wang is a registered patent attorney and is qualified to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
