David J. Santeusanio is a Partner in the Litigation Section. He concentrates his practice on labor and employment law.
Mr. Santeusanio represents employers in employment discrimination suits, wrongful termination claims, wage and hour class actions, and whistleblower claims. He regularly prosecutes and defends claims for unfair competition, improper solicitation of customers and employees, and misappropriation of trade secrets and proprietary information. Mr. Santeusanio represents clients in state and federal courts, arbitrations, and administrative agencies, including the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination.
Mr. Santeusanio counsels clients in a range of employment issues, including wage and hour compliance, employee discipline and termination, sexual harassment, employee handbooks and policies, and affirmative action. He also represents clients in connection with government investigations, including wage and hour investigations by the United States Department of Labor and federal contractor affirmative action audits by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs.
In 2007, Mr. Santeusanio was nominated and selected to participate in the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Boston's Future Leaders program.
While in law school, Mr. Santeusanio served as editor-in-chief of the Suffolk Transnational Law Review. Following graduation from law school, Mr. Santeusanio served as a law clerk to the Honorable Howard H. Dana, Jr., Associate Justice of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court.
