Demrie L. Graham practices in Holland & Knight’s Central Florida Real Estate group. Ms. Graham has considerable experience with a broad range of real estate matters with a variety of clients. She has handled complex commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions and development of shopping centers, apartment complexes and multi-family housing developments, raw land acquisitions and infrastructure development; leasing office, commercial and shopping centers spaces; entity structure and formation; and financing, including conventional construction, credit tenant, mezzanine and permanent mortgage loans.
Ms. Graham is also a U.S. Green Building Council, LEED Accredited Professional (LEED® AP).
Ms. Graham has represented numerous developers in acquisitions, dispositions and development of shopping centers, strip centers, office complexes and apartment communities, including drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, land contracts and closing documents, reviewing due diligence materials, including title and survey, leases, service contracts and management agreements. Her experience also includes representing borrowers in connection with simple and complex financing, including mezzanine loans, construction and development loans, permanent mortgage financing and government assisted financing. She has negotiated loan documents, assisted clients with assembling due diligence materials and coordinated closings.
Incidental to her representation of developers, she has also assisted clients with general business matters, for example, entity formation and business structuring, and drafting and negotiating general business contracts.
Ms. Graham's practice also includes representing lenders in credit tenant loan transactions, mortgage loan transactions and dispositions and acquisitions of loan portfolios, including drafting and negotiating loan documents, reviewing due diligence and coordinating closings.
