Eduardo "Ed" Ramos concentrates his practice in the areas of international and commercial litigation/arbitration with a particular focus on international and domestic intellectual property issues. He has successfully represented both foreign and domestic clients in complex litigations and arbitrations in both the United States and abroad. Mr. Ramos applies his significant experience in the areas of international and commercial litigation/arbitration to assist his clients with matters involving trademarks, copyrights, protection of trade secrets, trademark and copyright prosecutions, and generally all forms of intellectual property issues. Mr. Ramos has handled intellectual property and business matters for a wide-variety of business industries, including but not limited to, hotel, agricultural, pharmaceutical, technology and the cosmetics industries.
In addition to this experience, Mr. Ramos also has experience handling complex federal and state cases, including contractual disputes, fraud, banking litigation, corporate dissolution actions and enforcement of domestic and foreign judgments.
Mr. Ramos has other career experience in computerized graphic design and computerized database case management and prior to entering to private practice worked as the Graphic Designer for Greenberg Traurig in Miami.
He was the Regional Champion of the National Trial Team Competition, on the Moot Court Honor Society, and on the Journal of International Law and Commerce.
