Elizabeth Daniel is an Associate in Holland & Knight's Atlanta office. She is a member of the firm's Business Law Section and focuses primarily in the area of private wealth services. Her practice includes estate planning, estate and trust administration, estate and income tax matters, and general corporate matters, particularly for small or family-type businesses. In addition Ms. Daniel is a member of a national team of Holland & Knight attorneys who represent large non-profit organizations with respect to maximizing gifts left to charity, and recovering misappropriated assets.
Ms. Daniel earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics degree and minored in both Business and Mathematics. She received special honors for writing a thesis on the subject of Social Security Reform. While at the University of Texas, Ms. Daniel served as President for the International Economics Honor Society - Omnicron Delta Epsilon, and was admitted to Phi Beta Kappa.
While in law school, Ms. Daniel was a member of and editor for the Texas International Law Journal.
Ms. Daniel performs pro bono work locally through the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation and nationally through the Holland & Knight Foundation. Furthermore, she has a long history of volunteering in her community including work at the Austin Children's Shelter and Grady Memorial Hospital.
