Ellen Schiffer Berkowitz is a member of the Trusts and Estates practice group. She concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning and the administration of trusts and estates for individuals, families and financial institutions. Ms. Berkowitz is experienced in the preparation of sophisticated estate planning documents with an emphasis on estate, gift, generation-skipping transfer and income tax planning. She also has participated in probate and trust litigation involving the interpretation of wills and trusts.
Ms. Berkowitz is a member of the editorial board of the Matrimonial Strategist and has written articles for Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly and Trusts & Estates Magazine. Ms. Berkowitz also is the co-chair of the Trust and Estate's New Development's Committee of the Boston Bar Association.
