Mr. Mahony's experience covers the broad range of complex business litigation including securities fraud, business torts, product liability, intellectual property, anti-trust and contract disputes.
He has been appointed by the Judicial Council of the First Circuit and by the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court to investigate cases of judicial misconduct in the federal and state judiciary. Mr. Mahony served as counsel to the judges of the District Court for the District of Massachusetts in litigation brought against them by the United States Attorney for the District of Massachusetts challenging the adoption by the judges of a local rule concerning attorney subpoenas in criminal cases.
