George T. Magee practices in the areas of real estate development and finance law in the Commercial Real Estate and Housing and Community Development practice groups. On behalf of a Fannie Mae-approved DUS Lender, Mr. Magee has closed more than 250 loans made under Fannie Mae's Multifamily Mortgage Purchase Programs, including the Delegated Underwriting and Servicing, Aggregation Facility and Prior Approval product lines. The loans have been secured by properties located in more than 30 states and have included conventional multifamily refinancings, acquisitions, loan assumptions and transfers and loans made under Fannie Mae's Seniors Housing, Targeted Affordable Housing and Forward Commitment programs. Mr. Magee also represents lenders and borrowers in connection with the negotiation and documentation of complex multistate loan transactions and workouts as well as the negotiation and documentation of acquisition, development, construction and permanent financing. Mr. Magee has negotiated and drafted documentation relating to construction contracts and architectural-engineering contracts. He also has experience in general corporate matters, in particular incorporating new corporations, creating general and limited partnerships, and preparing corporate documentation for closings.
