Jason H. Barker practices in the areas of corporate law, securities, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and corporate governance.
Mr. Barker advises businesses of all sizes with respect to various corporate and securities matters, including mergers and acquisitions, periodic reporting with the Securities and Exchange Commission, initial and secondary public offerings, private placements, blue sky law compliance, tender offers, going private transactions, corporate governance, and corporate planning for closely-held and family businesses.
In law school, Mr. Barker was a recipient of the McDougall Scholarship and was a member of the University of Miami International and Comparative Law Review and the Moot Court Board. He represented the University of Miami School of Law as a participant in the American Bar Association’s National Appellate Advocacy Competition in New York City. He also served as a Summer Honors Intern for the United States Securities and Exchange Commission in Denver.
