Jose Ignacio Fernandez, an associate with Holland & Knightâs International Group, is a transactional attorney practicing in the areas of international and corporate law. Mr. Fernandez focuses his practice on the representation of domestic and foreign entities in various transactions in the United States.
Mr. Fernandez also practices in the area of commercial transactions, healthcare regulatory matters, Medicare & Medicaid regulatory issues, HIPAA and managed care and international business ventures for healthcare clients. Much of the domestic corporate and mergers and acquisitions work handled has involved health care businesses.
While at Florida International University, Mr. Fernandez was a recipient of the Bright Futures Scholarship. While in law school, he was a founder and Vice President of the Hispanic Law Student Society, as well as a Student Bar Association Representative.
