Katherine O'Donniley practices in the areas of land use and zoning, alcohol beverage and government advocacy. Ms. O'Donniley represents clients before various local governmental bodies on issues relating to zoning, land use, local government comprehensive planning, code enforcement and alcohol special use permitting. Her practice includes frequent interaction with local, regional and state government entities in Florida. Credentialed by the U.S. Green Building Council as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED® AP), Ms. O'Donniley also advises clients regarding green building practices and the LEED building certification process. Ms. O'Donniley also works with the firm's Alcohol Beverage Team on issues ranging from land use approvals to licensure and regulatory compliance.
While in law school at the University of Florida, Ms. O'Donniley was a member of the Florida Journal of International Law, and was awarded the Book Award in Criminal Law. Ms. O'Donniley graduated from the honors program at Florida State University where she also served as the Director of the FSU Women's Center and President of Chi Omega.
Prior to law school, she served in a financial oversight role for Sen. John Kerry's 2004 Presidential Campaign. Ms. O'Donniley oversaw the campaign's finances for the state of Florida, including the intake of all contributions, the management of expenditures and the filing of FEC reports.
