Louis T. M. Conti, a member of Holland & Knight's Public Companies and Securities Group, serves as the leader of the firm’s national Technology, Venture Capital, and Emerging Companies Team and coordinator of the firm’s Canada Initiative.
His practice includes mergers and acquisitions, corporate and partnership equity and debt financings, asset based financings, leveraged buy-outs, mezzanine and subordinated debt transactions, public and private equity placements, venture capital investments, corporate and partnership recapitalizations, and LLC, partnership and joint venture transactions.
Mr. Conti was the principal draftsman for Florida’s Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) legislation and chaired The Florida Bar Drafting Committees for revisions to the Florida LLC and Partnership statutes. He is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Florida School of Law where he teaches the Business Transactions Drafting Course.
