Lissa Schaupp practices in the area of maritime and shipping, focusing on international law, transport law, maritime collisions, maritime contracts and commercial litigation.
While in law school, Ms. Schaupp spent a summer as an intern for Justice Ira Gammerman of the New York Supreme Court, Commercial Division.
Prior to her legal studies, Ms. Schaupp gained maritime experience in the areas of boatbuilding and offshore sailing. In 1991 she attended the Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding in Port Townsend, Washington where she studied drafting, lofting, traditional wooden boat construction and repair.
