Larry Zanger is a Partner in the Business Law Section and focuses his practice on corporate and computer law matters. Mr. Zanger has substantial experience in the representation of a variety of businesses in the computer industry and those involved with the Internet and electronic commerce. Representative activities include merger and acquisition activity in the information technology industry, acting as outside general counsel for computer software developers, computer consultants, systems integrators and software and hardware distributors and dealers, with matters also involving international distribution and the ownership of foreign subsidiaries.
In addition, Mr. Zanger’s experience includes all forms of electronic commerce, software licensing, trade secret protection activities, commercialization of technology, mergers and acquisitions of software companies, sales and acquisition of individual programs, software financing, negotiation of outsourcing agreements, negotiation of software restructuring agreements and the sale of software development and software consulting companies.
Mr. Zanger was an adjunct professor of business law and accounting at the University of Illinois-Chicago, College of Business for five years and has been a member of the adjunct faculty of Benedictine University's Masters in Management Information Systems program.
