Martin J. Jaron, Jr. is a trial and appellate lawyer whose practice focuses on complex commercial litigation of corporate, real estate, banking and technology cases. Mr. Jaron has extensive experience representing companies in a wide range of commercial disputes, and has an active trial and appellate practice in federal and state courts in Virginia, Washington, D.C. and throughout the country.
Mr. Jaron handles corporate and partnership litigation, including merger and acquisition disputes, contracts, commercial insurance coverage, business fraud and RICO. He has significant experience in internal corporate and partnership disputes relating to the operation, management and control of business entities, and in the litigation of disputes related to real estate development and construction.
Mr. Jaron also represents technology companies in disputes involving contracts, business torts, infringement or theft of intellectual property rights, trade secrets, software licensing and employment agreements.
Mr. Jaron is co-chair of the firm's Electronic Discovery team. He has handled some of the firm's largest e-discovery cases nationally and internationally, has lectured on e-discovery topics at seminars and CLE programs, and advises clients on best practices to handle the demands of e-discovery. Mr. Jaron is also the practice group leader for the firm's Litigation Support Group, which handles litigation technology training and provides e-discovery assistance to the firm's lawyers.

Before practicing law, Mr. Jaron served as Assistant County Executive of Fairfax County, Virginia.
