Oliver Edwards practices in the Business Law Section. With broad-based experience in the international sphere, he has represented both companies and individuals in connection with their activities in the United States, Scandinavia, Switzerland, Germany, France and England. Mr. Edwards has represented foreign companies in the acquisition and sale of assets and stock of U.S. corporations, and companies from both sides of the ocean on joint ventures, distribution and agency agreements. He has caused the formation and dissolution of corporations in various states and foreign jurisdictions, including Liberia and Panama. His work in the Intellectual Property area includes both registration and licensing, and he coordinates with our litigation team on our litigated matters involving patents, trademarks and copyrights.
He has lectured in the United States and Western Europe on mergers and acquisitions, trademark law and foreign corporations doing business in the United States. His published articles include the areas of trademark law and foreign corporations doing business in the United States.
