Peter A. Zisser is a senior counsel in the Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights Practice Group, resident in New York. Mr. Zisser’s bankruptcy practice includes the representation of debtors, Chapter 11 trustees, creditors, and indenture trustees; representation of Chapter 7 trustees; representation of defendants/creditors in preference and fraudulent transfer actions; representation of secured creditors/lessors in actions to recover collateral and/or leased property; advising creditors on pre-bankruptcy planning and asset protection strategies; advising investors in distressed debt; prosecuting claims and defending creditors in claims objection proceedings; preparing chapter 11 plans of reorganization and disclosure statements.
Mr. Zisser has represented foreign insurance companies and creditors in ancillary proceedings and insurance insolvency cases.
