Phyllis L. Shuster is a corporate and real estate lawyer with extensive commercial experience. She has served as outside counsel for a division of a major multi-national electronics company and outside chief legal officer for its successor company, providing legal advice on a wide range of U.S. and international commercial transactions. In the course of providing general corporate counsel advice, she has also provided training to senior management and sales personnel highlighting best practices for litigation prevention and legal compliance. Ms. Shuster handles transactions and regulatory issues for business and real estate clients and regularly provides advice on RESPA and state anti-inducement and referral fee regulatory matters for settlement service providers. Ms. Shuster has been an attorney agent for the issuance of title insurance policies in Florida. Ms. Shuster has advised companies on corporate governance and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance matters. She regularly advises clients in the formation of limited liability companies, corporations and other business entities.
Ms. Shuster was an Adjunct Professor of Law at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center teaching contract drafting, negotiating and client counseling skills to second year law students from 1998 through 2001.
