Michelle Bedoya Barnett represents management clients with respect to labor and employment matters. In the labor area, Ms. Barnett has represented employers in connection with collective bargaining, unfair labor practice charges, interpretation of benefit plans and arbitrations. In the employment area, Ms. Barnett has conducted investigations and litigated cases involving Title VII, the ADA, ADEA, ERISA, FLSA, Executive Order 11246, the Federal Whistleblower Act and related state laws. Ms. Barnett has second chair jury trial experience and arbitration experience. Ms. Barnett has spoken at a number of seminars on labor and employment related topics.
Ms. Barnett serves as chair of the Diversity Committee in Holland & Knight's Jacksonville office.
