Roger W. Sims is a Partner with Holland & Knight, residing in the firm's Orlando, Florida office. Mr. Sims chairs the firm's Water Resources Team and practices in the areas of water resources, environmental, and land use law. Mr. Sims deals with many governmental agencies on a regular basis, including the state's Water Management Districts, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and the Florida Department of Community Affairs, as well as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
He has practiced before water regulators for over 20 years and served on an ad hoc rule development committee for surface water matters at St. Johns River Water Management District.
Mr. Sims has authored numerous publications and articles and lectures frequently on environmental and land use matters including water law, wetland issues and other environmental topics.
