Stacie Goeddel is a partner in the real estate department and concentrates in the areas of mixed-use development, including residential, resort and hotel projects, and hospitality, real estate finance and corporate law.
Ms. Goeddel is a member of the Global Hospitality, Resort and Timeshare Group and the National Real Estate Finance Team. Ms. Goeddel specializes in representing developers and hotel brands in the structuring of master planned and multi-use development projects, including condominium, timeshare, fractional share, residence club and condominium hotel regimes, in the United States and in foreign jurisdictions, with a specialty in the Caribbean and Latin America. Ms. Goeddel has extensive experience in the preparation of residential and resort project governing documents, shared use agreements, purchase agreements and related documentation, as well as in structuring and implementing cost-allocation methodology for mixed-use projects. In addition, she advises clients on compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements in the registration, sale and marketing of development projects, including compliance with federal securities laws, and in the registration of such projects with state agencies.
Ms. Goeddel is experienced in representing financial institutions and borrowers in commercial real property and asset-based financing transactions, including the representation of lenders in connection with distressed resort and residential developments. In addition, Ms. Goeddel represents and advises clients in the acquisition and sale of commercial real estate, with a focus in hospitality and in general corporate matters related to the acquisition, financing, development and management of commercial real property.
Ms. Goeddel serves as the San Francisco coordinator of the Holland & Knight Women's Initiative and is an active member of the firm's Pro Bono Committee.
